I was born in San Diego California and lived in Imperial Beach till I was 12. Those Years were filled with lots of chaos and confusion, but is also where I rode horses and I fell in love with country music. I suppose I gravitated towards country music because it was real to me, real life, my life – heartache, loneliness and strong women. The Judds, K.T. Oslin, Tanya Tucker to name a few. I sang along to every word of every song and new at a very young age I was going to sing – and I did.
Following my dreams led me to Nashville where even more dreams came true. I was blessed with a publishing deal with RPM ( Tim McGraws Management) that lasted 8 years. Then wrote for the Infamous Doc McGhee – Famous Rock Manager. I have had songs recorded by several top 40 artist including Randy Owen from Alabama, Adam Gregory, Jeff Bates Billy Bob Thornton and Bradly Gaskin to name a few. I am so grateful for all the artist that have recorded my songs and all the opportunities that came along with it. Opportunities that put me on the road several times, most recently Brooks and Dunn’s “Last Rodeo” tour.
My road has not been easy, but stay grateful for every step. I have walked through addiction & alcohol abuse and heartache. It is those difficulties that led to me to where I am today – a very peaceful, happy place.
I most recently had the faith and courage to write the record I have always wanted to – my story. If you have never told a lie, had a broken heart, never taken a drug or drank too much, never something you can’t take back you might not relate. For the rest of the world, this record is for you.
Finally I get to sing my own songs, one of my dreams I have had since those days of riding horses and mimicking my idols. So I would like to invite you, all of you, to come on this journey with me – let’s see where we wind up.
