Josh Arnold is a prolific song writer, music producer and film maker creating projects for Schools, Communities and various organisations throughout regional Australia under the banner of his production company ‘Small Town Culture’.
Josh believes in the collaborative process and possesses the unique ability of creating music with the people for the people. This is most evident in his School Workshops where lyrics are written with students who then become an integral part of the process and feel immense pride and take ownership of the end product.
To date there have been more than 90 School Songs, 10 Town Anthems and more than 150 Music Video’s produced, all featured on the ‘Small Town Culture’ YouTube Channel.
In 2014 ABC Landline featured a story on the program which later in the year led to a well deserved Regional Achievement Award for his work in rural Queensland.
Josh recorded and filmed ‘Australia Dreaming’ at the end of 2016, a reflective track highlighting the imagery and passion of Josh’s Small town Culture journey.
Other projects of note include Music Video’s for the ‘Stay on Track’ campaign and The Isolated Children’s and Parent’s Association.
Josh Arnold has also achieved great success as an artist in his own right by winning a Golden Guitar at the National Country Music Awards in Tamworth and having released 3 Albums through ABC Music with songs featured on the TV shows ‘Home and Away’, Neigbours’ and ‘Ghost Whisperer’ as well as radio stations across Australia including a performance on Channel 7’s Sunrise program. In 2016 Josh was presented with the Social Justice Award by the Social Justice Commission of the Toowoomba Diocese for his work on the ‘Walk Together Toowoomba’ project.
